GALENA

GALENA is a 30.75-metre steel-hulled explorer yacht built by Moonen in 2013 to the 100 Explorer series, refitted in 2020 and registered in the Cayman Islands. Designed by Vripack for both exterior and interior, she is one of Moonen's compact explorer models — a class built for range and seakeeping rather than the resort-style presentation of coastal charter yachts. Her proportions are purposeful and her specification reflects this philosophy throughout.

Accommodating six guests across three cabins with five crew, GALENA is clearly positioned for intimate private groups — couples or close friends who value discretion and attentive service over scale. Her Mediterranean itinerary covers the French Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia, the Amalfi Coast, Monaco, and broader Italian and French coastal waters. The 2020 refit maintained the integrity of Vripack's design intent while bringing the vessel's systems current. Onboard, GALENA offers a considered amenity list for a yacht of her size: deck jacuzzi, gym, sauna, sunpads, and full air conditioning. The water equipment includes a jet ski, Seabob, wakeboard, paddleboard, towable toys, snorkelling and full scuba diving gear with a dive compressor — a meaningful capability that allows independent diving operations without reliance on shore-based facilities.
