FLYING FOX is a 136-metre custom displacement superyacht built by Lürssen in 2019, flagged in Malaysia. She is among the largest charter yachts in the world, and represents the full extent of what the Bremen yard is capable of producing: a vessel where engineering complexity, interior volume, and operational scope are expressed at a scale that few builders can match. Exterior design by Espen Oeino gives her a composed, elongated profile, while interiors by Mark Berryman Design deliver an environment of considerable breadth and spatial variety.

FLYING FOX accommodates twenty-two guests across eleven cabins, served by a crew of fifty-five — a ratio that places her in a category defined by total guest immersion in professionally managed service. Her charter territory spans the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean, the Maldives, the Seychelles, and the Gulf, supported by a 6,500-nautical-mile range that enables genuinely transoceanic programming. She is suited to the most discerning and large-scale private charter groups; she is not a vessel for those seeking an intimate or informal experience.

What distinguishes FLYING FOX operationally is not any single feature but the cumulative provision of amenities that, at other scales, would each represent a major selling point in isolation.
