BLUE DEVIL

BLUE DEVIL is a 42-metre kevlar composite motor yacht built by AB Yachts to the AB 140 model in 2007, refitted in 2022, and registered in the Cayman Islands. Her exterior was designed in-house at AB Yachts and her interior by Studio Vafiadis. She is powered by three MTU engines and is capable of 41 knots at maximum speed — placing her firmly in the high-performance category at a size where such pace is genuinely rare.

With berths for 10 guests across four cabins and a crew of seven, BLUE DEVIL is suited to guests for whom speed is itself a priority — those who want to cover substantial distances quickly, or who take pleasure in the kinetics of a vessel operating at its performance ceiling. Her reach extends across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Florida, making her a versatile yacht charter candidate for active, itinerary-driven groups. She is not suited to guests seeking large cabin counts, extended offshore passages on a single fuel load (range is 500 nautical miles), or slow, contemplative cruising.

The AB 140 is one of the larger platforms in AB Yachts' high-performance line. Kevlar composite construction keeps displacement low relative to the hull volume, which is what allows the triple-MTU installation to produce 41 knots at 42 metres — a speed that most vessels twice her length cannot approach. The 2022 refit brings her systems to a current commercial standard.

At anchor, BLUE DEVIL provides a deck jacuzzi, sunpads, and a swimming platform with direct water access. The water sports inventory — Seabobs, jet ski, wakeboards, water skis, paddleboard, banana, doughnut, and snorkelling equipment — is well matched to a performance-oriented client. Wi-Fi is standard throughout.
