AMIGOS

AMIGOS is a 55-metre steel displacement motor yacht built in 2017 by Amels to their 180 series design, with a refit completed in 2024. She is registered in the Cayman Islands, with exterior design by Tim Heywood Design and interior design by Laura Sessa Romboli. At 670 gross tonnes with a 9.4-metre beam, she delivers the volume and range associated with a serious blue-water charter vessel, with a 4,500-nautical-mile range and twin MTU engines cruising at 12 knots.

AMIGOS is well suited to groups of 12 guests who want an extensive and flexible yacht charter experience across both Mediterranean and Caribbean waters. Her six cabins are served by a crew of 13, providing attentive service without the staff infrastructure of a significantly larger vessel. With confirmed charter regions spanning the French Riviera, Greece, Sardinia, Corsica, Italy, and the Caribbean — including Antigua, the Bahamas, St Barts, and the Virgin Islands — she is one of the more operationally versatile vessels in her size category. She is not the right choice for guests whose priority is high speed or port-hopping over short distances, as her full-displacement hull is designed for comfort and range rather than pace.

The Amels 180 is a well-regarded series platform, and the 2024 refit — carried out just seven years after delivery — indicates that her current owners have maintained an active investment programme. Tim Heywood's exterior design work is recognised across numerous series vessels and brings an aesthetic consistency and commercial intelligence to the hull form.

The onboard amenity set aboard AMIGOS is extensive: a spa, hammam, gym, deck jacuzzi, beach club, outdoor cinema, BBQ, exterior bar, sun deck, and Starlink connectivity.
