SHAHA

SHAHA is a 34.62-metre steel displacement motor yacht built by Socarenam in 1978, substantially refitted in 2011, and registered in Malta. Her exterior lines were drawn by the distinguished French naval architect André Mauric, whose portfolio spans ocean-racing yachts and considered commercial vessels alike. A vessel of this vintage, built to steel displacement standards and carrying 228 gross tonnes, represents a fundamentally different philosophy from contemporary GRP construction: heavier, more deliberate, and designed to endure rather than impress at first glance.
