SALUZI

SALUZI is a 69-metre conversion yacht originally built by Austal in 2003 and refitted in 2014, sailing under the Marshall Islands flag. Her aluminium hull — characteristic of Austal's commercial and semi-custom output — was repurposed into a large-format charter platform with interiors by Luiz de Basto Designs, whose work brings a considered warmth to what began as a more utilitarian vessel.

She is one of the larger charter yachts on the Mediterranean circuit, accommodating thirty-two guests across sixteen cabins with a crew of thirty-four — a ratio that allows for a high level of service across a sizable guest party. Her confirmed charter regions span the central Mediterranean: French Riviera, Monaco, Amalfi Coast, Sardinia, and Corsica. SALUZI is suited to large groups, corporate charters, or multi-family parties seeking substantial guest capacity on the water. She is not suited to intimate couples or small groups who prefer a more private, bespoke experience.

Austal's aluminium construction provides a structurally efficient platform for a vessel of this displacement. The 2014 refit addressed the conversion's operational and interior requirements, though the build year means potential charterers should enquire about the scope and currency of subsequent maintenance. Stabilisers are fitted both underway and at anchor, which is appropriate for a vessel carrying large guest numbers in Mediterranean conditions.
