ORION is a 49.80-metre aluminium motor yacht built by Heesen in 2025 to the 50m Aluminium Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) design, with exterior styling by Omega Architects and interiors by Cristiano Gatto Design. As a newly delivered Heesen, she is among the most current vessels in her size class entering the charter market — built to the latest standards of the Dutch yard, whose construction quality and engineering rigour are well established across decades of superyacht deliveries.

She accommodates 12 guests across six cabins, with a crew of nine — a ratio consistent with attentive, full-service operations. ORION is equipped for dual Mediterranean and Caribbean deployment, with listed regions spanning the French Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia, Antigua, the Bahamas, Bermuda, and St Barts. The Heesen FDHF aluminium hull form is engineered to deliver a strong balance between efficiency and speed at displacement — the hull delivers 16 knots maximum while maintaining a 3,750-nautical-mile range that makes transatlantic repositioning straightforward. At 499 gross tonnes she sits just below the 500GT threshold, which has practical implications for compliance and manning. Stabilizers are fitted both underway and at anchor, and Omega Architects' exterior work on the Heesen 50m platform emphasises clean volumes with well-resolved deck spaces.

The beach club, hydraulic swim platform, diving platform, and outdoor bar are the structural anchors of the deck experience, supported by a full sun deck with sunpads and a deck jacuzzi. Underwater lights extend evening use of the water. Water toys are well resourced: two SeaDoo jet skis, four Seabobs, foilboards, inflatable paddleboards, kayaks, a wakeboard, water skis, towables, and snorkelling equipment. A gym is fitted below.
