OCEANOS

OCEANOS is a 49.2-metre aluminium displacement yacht built by Mondo Marine in 2006 and refitted in 2022, with exterior and interior design throughout by Studio Vafiadis. At nearly 500 gross tonnes, she is among the larger vessels in the 50-metre class available for charter, and her Jamaican flag registration reflects the operational flexibility expected of a yacht that divides her seasons between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Mondo Marine's aluminium construction at this scale is a known quantity in the industry, valued for weight efficiency relative to steel equivalents.

She accommodates twelve guests across seven cabins attended by eleven crew — one of the more generous crew ratios in her class, and one that translates into a service standard more commonly associated with vessels of 60 metres or above. Her charter regions span the western and central Mediterranean, including France, Italy, Sardinia, Corsica, and the Amalfi Coast, and across the Atlantic to Antigua, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Saint Martin, and St Barts. This bi-hemispheric programme suits discerning charter parties who want consistent vessel quality regardless of season.

Studio Vafiadis's design for OCEANOS is coherent and resolved, and the 2022 refit has refreshed the vessel to a standard that extends the design's working relevance. Her stabilisation is comprehensive: both underway and at-anchor stabilisers are fitted, and her range of 3,915 nautical miles at 13 knots cruise supports Atlantic crossings and extended offshore passages without the logistical constraints that shorter-range vessels impose. A maximum speed of 18 knots provides pace when conditions allow.

The onboard activity programme is extensive. Three Seabob F5s units, two Yamaha waverunners, two Fliteboard foilboards, four convertible SUP/kayak paddleboards, wakeboards, a wakesurf, water-skis, towable inflatables, beach games, fishing and snorkelling equipment, a floating pool, and an inflatable jet-ski dock compose a comprehensive water-sports inventory. Two GoCycle G4 electric bikes extend the programme ashore. A deck jacuzzi, interior jacuzzi, sun deck, sunpads, swimming platform with underwater lights, exterior bar, owner's study, Starlink, satellite TV, and satcom reflect a vessel equipped for both extended ocean passages and active at-anchor programmes.
