ILLUSION V

ILLUSION V is a 58-metre custom steel displacement motor yacht built by Benetti in 2014, registered under the Malta flag. Both the exterior and interior were designed by Green & Mingarelli Design, giving the vessel a unified visual identity from hull to saloon. At 950 gross tonnes, she sits at the upper end of the accessible charter segment — large enough to carry a comprehensive amenity package and crew, while remaining manageable in the harbours and anchorages of the western Mediterranean.

Accommodating up to 12 guests across six cabins with a crew of 13, the ratio of more than one crew per guest reflects the Benetti custom build ethos at this scale. ILLUSION V operates across a broad western Mediterranean circuit: the Amalfi Coast, French Riviera, Sardinia, Corsica, Croatia, Montenegro, and Monaco. With a range of 5,000 nautical miles, she can reposition across the basin without constraint. She is not the natural choice for those seeking a compact, intimate vessel or a particularly fast passage-maker.

Green & Mingarelli Design's unified approach ensures that the exterior language and the interior atmosphere are resolved as a whole. The steel displacement hull, stabilised both at anchor and underway, provides the quiet, settled platform that defines the Benetti experience at this length. A beach club sits at water level, extending the vessel's relationship with the sea beyond the conventional swimming platform.

The onboard water sports programme reflects an ambition to cover most active interests: two SeaDoo RXP-X 260 jet skis, two Jet 5.12 ACS Seabobs, a flyboard, waterslide, wakeboard, water skis, paddleboard, inflatable toys, scuba diving equipment, and fishing gear are all carried. A deck Jacuzzi, gym, sun deck, exterior bar, and BBQ complete the leisure and social infrastructure. Tenders are carried for shore excursions and anchorage exploration.
