IDEFIX II

IDEFIX II is a 47-metre aluminium displacement motor yacht built by Heesen in 2008, registered under the Cayman Islands flag. Based on the Heesen 4700 Series platform with exterior design by Omega Architects, she offers the combination of meaningful speed and genuine range that defines the Dutch yard's aluminium line: a maximum of 24 knots alongside a range of 3,915 nautical miles accommodates both rapid passage-making and extended itineraries.

Accommodating up to 12 guests across six cabins with a crew of nine, IDEFIX II is suited to families or groups who want flexibility across Greece, Turkey, and the eastern Mediterranean. The guest-to-crew ratio is workable for attentive service without being excessive. She is less obviously suited to guests primarily drawn to the western Med circuit, where her eastern Mediterranean charter focus is not her natural territory.

At 493 gross tonnes, IDEFIX II sits in a capable middle tier of the Heesen range. The aluminium construction reduces displacement relative to a steel equivalent, contributing to her performance figures. At-anchor stabilisers provide comfort when moored. The Omega Architects exterior maintains the practical elegance that Heesen has long balanced with functional engineering — a vessel that works as hard as it looks.

The on-deck and water experience is well-equipped: a crane and tender garage allow for efficient deployment of a meaningful toys inventory, including two SeaDoo GTR 215 jet skis, wakeboards, a Jobe paddleboard, banana boat, waterslide, and a full scuba diving setup with compressor. A sun deck, Jacuzzi, sunpads, foredeck seating, and exterior bar provide the social infrastructure for extended charter yacht use.
