BON VIVANT

BON VIVANT is a 49.94-metre aluminium semi-displacement motor yacht built by Codecasa to their 50S model in 2013 and refitted in 2020, registered under the Maltese flag. Exterior design is by Andrea Bacigalupo and interiors by Della Role Design. Her most immediately notable characteristic is performance: three MTU engines deliver a maximum speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots — figures that place her among the faster vessels at this length in the charter fleet. The tradeoff is a range of 750 nautical miles, which reflects the fuel appetite of a planing-capable triple-engine arrangement and means her itineraries must be planned with refuelling in mind.

BON VIVANT accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins, with a crew of nine. As a charter yacht, she is best suited to groups who prioritise speed and responsiveness — the ability to cover long distances in short windows, arrive ahead of weather, or simply experience the exhilaration of a fast offshore passage. Her charter regions cover the western Mediterranean comprehensively (Amalfi Coast, Corsica, the French Riviera, Monaco, Sardinia) and extend to the Caribbean, including Antigua, Saint Martin, St Barts, and the Virgin Islands, reflecting a vessel that transits between seasons with ease. She is not the right choice for guests planning extended passages without access to fuel infrastructure, or for those who value range and economy over pace.

Codecasa's 50S is a proven aluminium platform, and BON VIVANT's semi-displacement hull form allows her to transition efficiently between displacement and planing modes depending on conditions and requirements. The Della Role interior design provides a considered, residential feel that counterbalances the yacht's performance character — BON VIVANT is not a race boat dressed as a yacht, but a well-resolved vessel that happens to be fast.

The onboard experience balances activity with comfort. At-anchor and underway stabilisers make extended stays and passage-making more comfortable at her speeds. The deck jacuzzi and sunpads provide the expected Mediterranean deck lifestyle. Water sports are well covered: two jet-skis, two Seabobs, an electric foilboard, a Jetsurf, three kayaks, three paddleboards, wakeboard, waterski, and towable toys constitute a programme capable of occupying active groups throughout the day.
